May Awareness Month

Last May we honored Dan Hall, a programmer here at DocuTrac. Dan and his wife Tina are the adoptive parents to six very special children. After a long, emotional, and stressful battle, Dan and Tina were awarded adoption of Isabella Marie Hall in Florida on March 29th. We admire Dan and Tina for their persistence, commitment, and continuing dedication in providing care and nurturing to special needs, adoptive/foster children, and we congratulate them on the adoption of their new family member Isabella.

Memorial Day Closing

Americans have been observing Memorial Day since 1868, nearly 150 years ago. This year Memorial Day falls on Monday, May 29th. DocuTrac will be closed in observation of this day as we honor the deceased veterans of all the wars fought by American forces. We will reopen on Tuesday the 30th at 9:00 AM ET. We hope you have an enjoyable and safe Memorial Day.

New features in QuicDoc Professional will include a Dashboard view with Workday and Announcements, listing of Practice Policies and Procedures, and Dashboard elements such as grids, graphs, and meters. We’ve also added customizable Group Note Templates; the ability to embed and use fillable PDF forms for Notes or Treatment Plans; as well as built-in Chat/IM capability among users, and more…

Office Therapy V12
New features in Office Therapy will include the ability to batch post paper EOBs; the automatic generation of electronic secondary claims; and improvements to performance and tighter integration to retrieve ERAs with our EDI partner TriZetto Provider Solutions®.

Training for Our Professional Edition Customers

Do you need help learning how to use DocuTrac software or help with specific features such as entering patient data, charging for sessions, or filing claims? DocuTrac can provide you with comprehensive web based training at a reasonable rate.

Web training sessions are provided in one hour increments. They are available for those running the most recent versions of our software and are current on maintenance. The cost for an hour of Professional Edition training is $79 for either client-server or cloud based programs.

The Wiley PracticePlanners® provide a valuable resource for creating and expanding clinically sound treatment plans and notes in QuicDoc® Professional and QuicDoc Enterprise EMR. With a yearly subscription of only $169, QuicDoc users have access to Wiley’s Treatment Planning content. Requires V 8.1 for Enterprise and V 11 for Professional.

American Express Card Charges with TSYS

When you set up credit card processing, there are certain options you can choose. One of these is whether or not to accept American Express. Since this card is charged at a different rate, it is important to let TSYS know if you do want to be able to process it.

One way to check if you are setup for American Express is to run a transaction report either by client or date. If there is a transaction ID number associated with an American Express charge in the report then you are set up to accept it.
