The Dog Days of summer begin in early July, when the hot, sticky weather of summer begins. So thank you Former President Ronald Reagan for designating July as National Ice Cream Month!

Not only does ninety percent of our nation’s population enjoy this delicious and fun treat, but the U.S. ice cream industry generates more than $21 billion in annual sales and provides jobs for thousands of citizens. So take the family out and enjoy a cup or a cone of your favorite flavor.

July, of course, is home to America’s biggest day of celebration! On the 4th, we commemorate our country’s independence from Great Britain. This is the holiday of parades, cookouts and fireworks. Enjoy all the festivities of this special day but please be safe especially if you are planning to set off fireworks!

Here's a tip to quick search a list in the Claims Manager:

• In the Office Therapy 10 Claims Manager, you can quickly find a specific claim, insurance company, or provider in a long list of names by simply typing the first few letters. Office Therapy will then auto search the list for you and highlight the appropriate name.

This past March, Congress proposed a bill setting standards for Community Behavioral Health Centers. The bill will set national standards and oversight of Federally Qualified Community Behavioral Health Centers (FQCBHCs). It is intended, "To increase access to community behavioral health services for all Americans and to improve Medicaid reimbursement for community behavioral health services."

The proposed bill which was sent to the House on June 21st will, among other things, regulate staffing requirements, mandate specific types of treatments, and require primary care monitoring of clients' key health risks.

In a recent press release the National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare states, "These standards will bolster our nation's community mental health and addictions system, providing new support for integrated and simplified treatment." To read the bill, click here.

If no one picks up your call in fifteen minutes, you will be prompted to leave a mesage and then the call will be ended. We end the call so you are not spending your valuable time on hold.

Leaving a Message

By pressing the # key, you can leave a message at any time before the fifteen minute wait is up. Your message is instantly delivered to Support, but if you don't leave a message our Support staff will not know you need help. Be sure to leave the name of the agency or person to whom the software is registered, a call back number, and a brief description of the issue.

The United States Office for Civil Rights (OCR), a division of Health and Human Services (HHS), has been charged with the responsibility of conducting the HIPAA Security and Privacy audits of Covered Entities (CE) and Business Associates (BA).
