Update your Credit Card Information

Are you scheduled for recurring charges with DocuTrac? For example, you may have a Cloud subscription or are on our automatic maintenance renewal plan.

If you have received a new, more secure credit card with chip technology, please call our Sales Department to update your card information. Even if you have the same card number, the expiration date and the security code will have changed.

Audit Log Security Feature in Office Therapy

Questions Ever wonder who changed or deleted an entry in Office Therapy? With the Audit Log security feature, you can easily track and audit activity in Office Therapy. All additions, changes, and deletions, as well as viewing of information can be tracked. When enabled, the audit log tracks the activity, date/time, user, Windows user, and computer name. The log tracks changes to patient information and related activity; transactions, such as charges, payments, etc.; and billing, filing insurance, and scheduling.

To view your Audit Log settings, log in with Master Access:

Go to File, Administration and select Audit Log Settings
Check Enable Audit Log at the top of the window
Click on the checkbox for the activities you want to track
Click Ok
Close and then re-start Office Therapy for the settings to take effect

Support for QuicDoc Office in the Cloud

Support for QuicDoc Office Cloud Issues…

For security reasons, DocuTrac Support Representatives are not
able to answer questions or provide assistance for cloud issues unless the person calling on the Support line is a licensed cloud user.

For HIPAA compliance purposes, each individual user who needs access to the cloud account must be setup with their own separate login credentials. By sharing cloud logins you not only lose accountability, but you also lose the protection of a secure login. If you were to be audited, you would have no way to identity an individual as the sole user of a specific login, and that could open you up to a HIPAA violation.

Addiction and Recovery Act 2016

On July 13th The Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act of 2016 was passed by the Senate and sent to the President for his signature.

This bill provides for “grants to address the national epidemics of prescription opioid abuse and heroin use, and to provide for the establishment of an inter-agency task force to review, modify, and update best practices for pain management and prescribing pain medication, and for other purposes.”

Closed for Labor Day

Labor Day was originally celebrated in honor of the contributions that labor groups made to the US economy. These days it is mainly a day off from work for rest and for fun. We hope everyone has a safe, happy, and relaxing holiday!
