Coding for ICD-10 / DSM V

The deadline for ICD-10 is October 1, 2015 - only five months away!

This is not a lot of time to transition your practice to ICD-10. Office Therapy is designed to help you make an easy transition from ICD-9 to ICD-10. If you are using Office Therapy V11.5 and have not yet updated the ICD codes, here’s how to do it:

In the Office Therapy Client setup window click the Diagnosis tab. Then click the Modify button to convert codes. For step by step instructions, click here.

We suggest that you get a copy of the ICD-10 Code Book. Another resource is the ICD10Data.com web site.

Additionally, you will want to be prepared for delays in payment in the event that the payers you use are not completely ICD-10 ready. There may be coding errors or other delays in payment that occur as a result of the ICD-10 transition.
