QuicDoc® and Office Therapy® July 2014 Newsletter

We are very pleased and excited to announce that QuicDoc Enterprise Version 8.0 has been awarded 2014 Ambulatory Certification. We are proud of our entire staff for their dedication and perseverance in reaching this milestone. This certification allows QuicDoc Enterprise Version 8.0 users to attest to Meaningful Use Stages 1 and 2.

Testing and certification was performed by The Drummond Group’s EHR Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body.

QuicDoc Enterprise EHR Software Version 8.0 is fully compliant in accordance with the standards and criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. QuicDoc Enterprise supports Meaningful Use measures required for eligible behavioral health providers to receive EHR incentives.

QuicDoc Version 8.0 will be available soon.

This EHR Module is 2014 compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee the receipt of incentive payments. DocuTrac, Inc. received Ambulatory Certification on June 19, 2014 for QuicDoc Enterprise v8.0, Certification ID number 1314E01P3YODEAF and Certificate No. 06192014-2443-6. The Clinical Quality Measures Certified are as follows: CMS002v3, CMS068v3, CMS069v2, CMS137v2, CMS138v2, CMS156v2, CMS161v2, CMS165v2, CMS169v2; The modules tested are as follows: 170.314(a)(1-15); 170.314(b)(1-5, 7); 170.314(c)(1-3); 170.314(d)(1-8); 170.314(e)(1-3); 170.314(f)(1); 170.314(g)(2-4). Additional software used: MS HealthVault, DrFirst Rcopia; where applicable, the certification criteria to which each EHR module has been tested and certified. This certified product may require monthly or annual fees to establish and support an online patient service portal; one-time set up fees and annual support fees for e-prescribing, secure messaging, lab interfaces and data exchange interfaces may also apply.[IF TESTING 2014 Edition Only] And include Price Transparency: Any additional types of costs that an EP, EH, or CAH would pay to implement the Complete EHR’s or EHR Module’s capabilities in order to attempt to meet meaningful use objectives and measures. EHR technology self-developers are excluded from this requirement.

Retiring Versions of Office Therapy

We will be retiring versions 9.0 to 9.0.4 of Office Therapy Practice Management software, effective September 1st, 2014.

DocuTrac's Website Wins the American Web Design Award

Our website recently received the American Web Design Award presented by Graphic Design USA!

The American Web Design Award is an annual contest used to showcase website design and other online communications.  Along with recognition by the visual communications community, winners receive a Certificate of Excellence in design.

Our aim for the website was to provide better organized content and more visually suitable pages so that users could easily find information about our EMR software and billing software products and services. We not only wanted to provide an up-to-date appearance with a more pleasant interface, but also one that was highly intuitive.

QuicDoc Version 9.5.7 has been Released

The latest update to QuicDoc clinical documentation software is available to all users who are current on maintenance. 

This is an automatic update and includes some of the following enhancements:

1. Added interface to Add/Modify Diagnoses for new DSM/ICD.
2. Patient address at time of a note is now saved with associated note if address is updated.
3. Office Therapy view in Scheduler now has a week view in addition to the Day view.
4. Group Note print-out or preview now shows CPT or Service Code
5. Only the logged on user can create a note from their schedule view.

I-STOP Legislation Makes Electronic Prescribing Mandatory

The New York State Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement has finalized its guidelines for providers and pharmacies to implement the Internet System for Tracking Over-Prescribing (I-STOP). Effective March 27, 2015, New York providers will be required to comply with the mandate to e-prescribe.

EPCS Gold 2.0 allows providers to safely prescribe legend and schedule II-V drugs electronically through the same workflow, further streamlining the prescription writing process.

EPCS Gold 2.0 builds on the current e-prescribing functionality within our QuicDoc Professional EMR Software and Enterprise Edition EHR Software, through our partnership with DrFirst. EPCS Gold is also available as a stand alone product for our Office Therapy Practice Management Software users.
