QuicDoc® Software for Behavioral Health Achieves Complete EHR Certification

HAGERSTOWN, Md., March 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — QuicDoc® V6.2 Enterprise Software is now fully certified as an Electronic Health Record (EHR) for Meaningful Use incentives. Testing was conducted by the Drummond Group, Inc authorized by the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC), as an Authorized Testing and Certification Body. Having completed all thirty-five certification tests as of March 4, 2011 QuicDoc Enterprise will be listed as a Complete EHR on the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology Certified Health IT Product List.

QuicDoc Enterprise Software was one of the very first Behavioral Health Systems to Pass Final Rule of Certification Tests achieving Modular Certification in late 2010. Having achieved Complete EHR Certification QuicDoc Enterprise Software now provides the platform for users to become qualified for Medicare and Medicaid incentives for the Meaningful Use Incentive Program.

Quoting the CMS website, In a February 23rd press release, CMS announced that there has been strong interest in early registration for the Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Programs. In January, more than 21,000 providers initiated registration through the CMS site,… and four states issued Medicaid incentive payments for the month totaling $20,425,550.
