- Enhancements
- General
- New look and easier interface for Patient View.
- WorkDay and Dashboard View - new view showing Workday (appointments, tasks, agency announcements), Agency Policies, and Dashboards. Dashboards are available on the web and can also be customized.
- Custom User Forms can now be created for the Patient view, Provider View and for your practice. In addition to being able to create user forms for notes, you can now create a user form to attach to patients, providers (e.g. to track malpractice insurance, credentials, etc.), and for your practice (e.g. to track incidents). Enter multiple records in each form and filter records.
- Customizable Patient Details pane, by user, in Patient View allows you to easily see key fields.

- Fixes
- When sending a Missed Appointment to PDF, the patient name is displaying the account number. This did not occur when printing the note.
- When using note generation options, all the subsections are populated to the checked-list box twice. If all are checked, this causes the subsections to be printed twice.
- When printing a note using Arial 10, the "Service" and "Patient" lines in the session information are not tabbed correctly and do not align correctly with the rest of the fields.
- Problem generating an Incidental Note from a Message. When selecting a patient to attach to the message, the name was not found in some cases, or was causing an error when searching for the patient.
- When sending a charge from a note to Office Therapy, the Start Time for the service is not being passed.
- Leisure/Interests not appearing in Treatment Plan print-out.
- Signature line for non-provider (e.g. Patient) not displaying on print-out when pending.
- Error 380 and program crashes when resizing Problems-Goals screen in note too small.
- Print button at top of screen when in e-Prescribing interface prints out a blank page. This button is obsolete and is now disabled. To print a prescription you need to use the Print button on the prescribing page.
- When the "Use Office Therapy for appointments in Reminders and Next Appointment" option is enabled, the Next Appointment feature does not send the appointment to the OT calendar.
- When creating an appointment in the setting the status to Patient Cancelled and creating a session note from the scheduler, it shows as Therapist Cancelled in the main note view.
- Search patient list by phone number does not work.
- Field length for Frequency in Master Medication List table too small resulting in error when text was larger than 20 characters.
- When "Sending a Charge" to Office Therapy, the diagnosis pointer was not being sent resulting in an issue power charging.
- Fixed Ctrl-F to search and searching within a grid.
- When in a Note, if using the "Charge Encounter" button to send the charge to Office Therapy, and under certain conditions, there is an error in Claims Manager when batching claims.
- When the zip code mask is set to NNNNN, the zip codes print only one digit on the face sheet.
- When using "Charge Encounter" button to send the charge to the Office therapy ledger, in some cases, there is an error in Office Therapy's Claims Manager impacting the batch of claims.
- Cell or Mobile phone from QuicDoc now saves to Office Therapy.
- When exporting records as csv, if there was a carriage return in the address field, it added it in the csv, invalidating it and making it unreadable.
- When creating Office Therapy appointments from the QuicDoc scheduler, a diagnosis pointer was not being set and the appointment status was being set incorrectly if left empty.
- When changing patients, if tabs other than patient details was selected, Alerts were not changing
- When changing note name, if you have frequently used notes in menu or task pane, it does not update the names there

- Spin buttons on Timer for number of minutes in Notes does not change minutes.
- Flickering on some systems cause by Auto-Replace function being turned on. You can now set this to Off by unchecking the menu item in a note and the setting will be saved by user.
- Preview text for Risk Factors showing label 'Significant Findings' even when none checked.
QuicDoc® Version 11.5.4(March 22, 2017)

- Reminders for Notes Due now shows reminders for Supervisors who are required to sign off on Group Notes.

QuicDoc® Version 11.5.2(January 3, 2017)
- Enhancements
- Email from QuicDoc® and QuicDoc Scheduler in the Cloud version can now use SSL.
- You can send an encounter or note to Office Therapy for billing (Select Note, right-click and Send to…) only if it is flagged as billable as indicated by “Allow applying to authorizations” under Documentation Setup for that note type. Note: this will not affect the decrementing of authorizations in Office Therapy if the service code is excluded from the list of services covered. Prior to this change you could send any custom note type even if set as a Treatment Plan type or not as reflecting a note that was billable.
- Fixes
- When sending encounters from QuicDoc to Office Therapy, Fee Reductions were showing with a minus (-) sign, and in some cases being passed as a positive
value.
- When sending encounters from QuicDoc to Office Therapy, and re-opening, adjustments are displayed with a minus (-) sign or as a negative number and totals
are incorrectly displayed. This is a display only issue. Values sent to Office Therapy are correct.
- When sending encounters from QuicDoc to Office Therapy, certain values were passed as empty values causing a problem generating paper claims.
- When sending encounters from QuicDoc to Office Therapy, if a payment was added and a payment method was not entered, an error occurred. When a payment is
posted, the method is now required.
- When sending encounters from QuicDoc to Office Therapy, in some cases a diagnosis pointer was not being passed, causing an error producing claims.
- You can now enter a new ICD-10 Diagnosis without a corresponding ICD9 code.
- Link in Preferences to setup exchange with Therapist Helper was hidden.
- Spelling error on opening screen.
QuicDoc® Version 11.5.1(February 18, 2016)
- Enhancements
- When scanning a document to attach to a patient file, you can now select the scanner source right from the Scan
screen rather than have to go to another Source List screen.
- The Hide Interface option when scanning is now saved rather than defaulting to True.

- When using Send To Office Therapy to send an encounter note as an appointment, new diagnosis pointers were not

- When Previewing a Note, and using the options to select which sections to show, the list of sections was
duplicated. Each note section was showing twice.
- On some Windows Surface Pros, when attaching a keyboard, the system errors when sending the note to Preview. You
can now select and check Preview Mode - Modal from the File menu, to display the Preview differently. The error does
not occur in this mode.
- When Printing a Missed Appointment Note from the Missed Appointment Note screen, the label for Account Number was
mislabeled Patient.
- When typing in Patient List column to search, the focus went to the Search field after typing a couple of
characters.
QuicDoc Version 11.5.0(February 5, 2016)

- When converting a message to Incidental Note, was not moving to selected patient for whom note had been written. This could occur since a message
could be converted to a patient not on the current list. Because of this and other potential errors, while you can still create an incidental note from
a message, it does not move to the patient.
You can, however see and edit your Incidental Note and sign off on it.
- Calculation of sessions for Discharge Note was including the Discharge Note as a session.
- Spelling fixes to default Review of Systems items.
- Runtime 380 error when resizing Problems-Goals-Objectives screen height too short.

QuicDoc Version 11.0.3(April 13, 2015)

QuicDoc Version 11.0.2(April 10, 2015)

1. Wiley Treatment Plans 'carry over' from the last plan.
2. Wiley Progress Note pulls in Objectives for associated problems from the last treatment plan.
In the previous version, the progress note pulled in problems from the last treatment plan and you
could identify the ones you addressed in the encounter, and then add interventions and objectives. Now
for each problem you mark as addressed, you can pull in objectives from the treatment plan.
(click on carry over button) and then enter the objectives status.

QuicDoc Version 11.0.0 (March 13, 2015)

3. Signature functionality enhanced to allow for touch devices (e.g. android, iPad, Windows RT). Note: The ability to use android and iPad is limited to Cloud users. Touch device for signing on Windows RT or Windows Tablet PCs is available for both Cloud and client-server users. This also allows the use of a mouse for signatures. This is available for notes and document templates.

15. Automated Account Numbers can be assigned to new patients. You can create an account number based on a numeric seed (e.g. starting with 1000) and use combination of number seed with date of birth (e.g. 08011945), first letter of first name, first letter of last name. So, for example using first name, last name and seed, John Doe would be assigned an account of JD1000, Jane Doe would then be JD1002, and so on. (See Setup ...Preferences)
16. Added ability to save a company logo or graphic to appear on header of Notes. Logo can be bmp, or jpg format. (See Setup ...Preferences)
17. Info button on Diagnoses, Labs, and Medications goes to MedLine Plus for Patient Education materials.
18. Preference for whether to Print out ICD Name and DSM Name if different. (see Setup ...Preferences)
19. Allow a new Intake without having to do a Discharge Note for earlier incident. (see Setup ...Preferences)

38. Note Audit Report and Notes Due Reminders can be based on the Office Therapy Calendar. Appointments marked as seen will now show as needing a note if a note does not exist for that appointment. 1. E-Rx - now parses the address line because carriage return in address line causing error when sending a prescription to DrFirst.
2. When going from e-Prescriping screen to Patient View, the Patient List was changing size in unpredictable ways (at times displaying with a tiny font size and at other times with a huge font size).
3. URL's to docutracinc.com updated.
4. Reminder screen refreshes if user switched.
5. Progress toward goal not printing unless a percentage toward progress was entered.
6. When adding a new code, the user needs to type a description. If the user uses copy/paste to paste the CPT description and it includes a semi colon, any text after the semi-colon is listed in the Length column, and refuses to be deleted.
7. Updating active status in Office Therapy when right-click on patient and selecting set inactive where preference is not to update.
8. Not loading patient list if >32000 patients.
9. Inactive providers were being displayed in drop-down for Interventions under Problems-Goals/Objectives-Interventions.

Scheduler Fixes - The following changes were made to prevent associating the wrong patient with an appointment and a note generated from the Scheduler. a) When creating a patient appointment you can only select from the list or type a name on the list. You cannot enter a name not on the list or add any other text to the name field. b) There is now a restriction on typing in an appointment slot so that you are not able to change a name. You can still type in a slot for an event or availability.
11. QuicDoc Notes - Goals section - When entering a new goal, if you type a carriage return, it will cause an error writing back to the display and thus the database.
12. Custom toolbar items now stored locally instead of in the database. When stored in the database, the links were potentially incorrect across workstations.
13. When adding RTF Editor control to user form, the length of the associated field in the database was incorrectly set to 10 instead of unlimited text.
QuicDoc Version 9.6.0 (9/16/2014)

1. Users with read only rights to scheduler could not click on appointment in day view to see appointment details.

On Note print-out, you have option of printing ICD Name Only, DSM Name only, or both when the DSM-5 Name exists (e.g..... Autistic Disorder vs. Autism Spectrum Disorder). See Setup ...Preferences.

- Very large scanned images not printing. In some cases, the system was not able to print scans which were very large. You can now open and print scanned images in QuicDoc using an associated image application that handles multi-page tif images. This provides a fix to the printing issue and provides enhanced functionality viewing and printing the image. While there are a number of applications available, one free application we can recommend is XNView (see http://www.xnview.com/en/index.php). Contact DocuTrac Support for help in setting this up if you are having difficulty printing large scanned images.
- In some cases, the auto-update feature introduced in 9.07 was causing a problem when starting QuicDoc. You can now turn the Auto Update off under Setup...Preferences.
- Fixed the function to Send an encounter to Office Therapy. Some users reported getting a message that there was already an appointment/charge when there was not. This occurred if there was a payment for that date.

Make note of these locations for backup/restore purposes and if you are
sharing database files and documents in a network setting. If you are
updating from a pervious version, existing files are moved as part of the
update. For example, if you install the v7.5.1 update on an
XP box, all databases, documents, etc will be moved to the Vista-compatible
locations (see above). If you were sharing the data folder
from a stand-alone machine, note that the databases are no longer
accessible on the network from the new directories. You will need
to remove the original share on the data directory, and share the new
data directory.

pick-lists created by user.
- System Administrator now can go to a Password Setup Screen, listing all
Users with their UID's and Passwords, and allowing SA to change User's
Passwords more easily. SA can also see Date Passwords were last updated.
This feature is important were Passwords must be changed on a regular basis
(e.g. every month).
- Repeating appointments in Scheduler are now marked in the database with
the ID of originating appointment. Thus, users can delete ALL or Selected
Appointments or a repeating group, rather than having to go to each to
delete them.
- All Time Controls in Scheduler allow for input and display of Military
Time if this option selected in preferences. Military time is displayed on
Appointment Control and in all print-outs.

QuicDoc 7.51 Upgrade for Windows Vista (Nov 13, 2007)

Important:
Make note of these locations for backup/restore purposes and if you are
sharing database files and documents in a network setting. If you are
updating from a pervious version, existing files are moved as part of the
update. For example, if you install the v7.5.1 update on an
XP box, all databases, documents, etc will be moved to the Vista-compatible
locations (see above). If you were sharing the data folder
from a stand-alone machine, note that the databases are no longer
accessible on the network from the new directories. You will need
to remove the original share on the data directory, and share the new
data directory.

patient record and the location or path specified is invalid or does not

QuicDoc 7.04 Service Pack 3 (May 16, 2007)
- Fixed - When doing prescriptions using the New York state form, the
indication of whether it was printed displayed 'No', even when the
prescription had been sent to the printer.
- Modified - The QuicDoc System Administrator (SA) can now be set as
a delegate for a user, allowing the SA user to edit or delete notes.
Prior to this QuicDoc had been changed so that the SA user was unable to
edit notes.
- Fixed - The search function in the Audit log report, when searching by
description was returning results only when the search word was the first
word of the description and not when it was contained in the
description.
QuicDoc 7.02 Service Pack 2 (Apr 19, 2007)
- Fixed – Formatting of some sections of note was misaligned in QuicWord

- Now allows for format mask for phone number formats in different
countries (e.g. New Zealand, Australia), user can select from several common
ones under Preferences. To add a format, user can add to a file named
phoneformats.txt in the following format, one per line: "United States",
"###-###-####"
- Now allows for changing SSN label name to another ID, and applying a
mask (e.g. ###-####). Mask can be numeric or alphanumeric and allows up to 9
characters. See Preferences.
- Now allows changing the label or name for Account # (e.g. Patient No.)
under Preferences menu.
- Settings for Electronic Records, Word Usage, Password Recall, Allow
Users to Change Password are global and controlled by the System
Administrator. See Preferences.
- Pick-lists for Race and Religion can now be modified. Add on the fly or
go to Clinical Data Lists from Setup menu.
- User-defined fields under Additional Patient Information can now have
pick-lists created by user.
- System Administrator now can go to a Password Setup Screen, listing all
Users with their UID's and Passwords, and allowing SA to change User's
Passwords more easily. SA can also see Date Passwords were last updated.
This feature is important were Passwords must be changed on a regular basis
(e.g. every month).
- Repeating appointments in Scheduler are now marked in the database with
the ID of originating appointment. Thus, users can delete ALL or Selected
Appointments or a repeating group, rather than having to go to each to
delete them.
- All Time Controls in Scheduler allow for input and display of Military
Time if this option selected in preferences. Military time is displayed on
Appointment Control and in all print-outs.
- Added field under Goals-Objectives section to write more of a narrative
for goal progress
- Added fields to capture who created an addendum for a locked note (when
Electronic Record set to True) , when created, and when last changed.
- Added functionality to do prescriptions in the front-end of the program.

has improved and is easier to use.
- Added Psychosocial History form in QuicDoc3\Documents folder. This file,
in RTF format, can be used by therapist or patient to fill out by hand.
