HAGERSTOWN, Md., July 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — DocuTrac, Inc. Developer of Behavioral Health Software has announced the release of the latest version of their QuicDoc® EMR Enterprise Edition software. This newest release, ready for Meaningful Use, allows qualified providers to apply for Medicare and Medicaid incentives, and that could mean increased revenues. Additionally new functionality in this release reflects major advancements.
Recently, DocuTrac became the very first software company to be New York State Clinical Records Initiative (NYSCRI) certified. Certification was through MTM Services, Inc. authorized by the New York Office of Mental Health (OMH) and the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS). NYSCRI is designed for outpatient mental health, day and residential programs which are licensed, funded, or regulated by OASAS or OMH. The NYSCRI system is included in the new release of QuicDoc.
A noteworthy achievement attained in mid July for DocuTrac was the approval of QuicDoc as an Electronic Prescription Transmission System (EPTS) by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. This allows Ohio prescribers who use QuicDoc to transmit their prescriptions electronically. QuicDoc’s e-prescribing feature provides a solution required by Ohio law which helps to prevent forgery and minimize errors through two factor authentication.
