DocuTrac Announces New Implementation Process

HAGERSTOWN, Md., Dec. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — DocuTrac, Inc., a leading developer of software for the behavioral health industry, announced today the launch of a new Implementation Portal for their growing base of QuicDoc® Enterprise clients. Jim Miller , Director of Quality Control and Compliance, describes this new Portal as “the most efficient way to collect workflow data from the client and to train the client’s Implementation Team on how to setup QuicDoc Enterprise v6.2 to enhance the facility’s workflow.”
Purchasing an ONC Certified Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is only the first step toward Meaningfully Use Incentives. The most crucial next step is to get the software installed, set up and implemented. Accomplishing this implementation step is why the Portal was created.

Converting a practice for paper records to a new EMR system can be a daunting task, that consumes time and staff resources that are needed to run the practice’s operations. QuicDoc’s new Implementation Portal provides a way for the practice team and the QuicDoc Implementation Coordinator to stay in continual contact throughout the process. The Portal also provides a secure location to record the decisions that are made during the setup of the new system.
